Ellie Jane Goulding grew up in Hereford, England. She was born on the 30th December, 1986. Tracey Goulding Summers, her mother worked at a grocery store. Arthur Goulding is the father. Goulding was born in 2000. Her sisters are, Isabel and Jordan. The brother of her is Alex. Alex, Goulding's brother, plays bass. Goulding is also a Hereford musician. At the age of a young girl she was surrounded by her mom who advised her to be an artist. In the ninth grade when she began learning the clarinet. At the age of 14, she started writing songs.
